However it is also worth considering the inherent commercial benefit, you will be listed on our sponsor’s page on our well visited website, you will also have the ability to place point of sale material and posters within our centre. Your company will be mentioned on most of our advertising material as well as appearing in newsletters. We run both radio and paper campaigns and both names can be mentioned. 1200 children currently on register and growing every week, over 500 students in classes throughout each week, weekends groups of teenagers, parents, English café mornings, charity shop visitors a consistent flow of people from the local community from 5 to 80 years old, mainstream and SEN. Merlin’s Magic Wand children’s charity makes the magic of Merlin accessible to children facing serious illness, disability or adversity. With Magical Days Out we provide free attraction tickets and funded travel to families so that they can enjoy a great day out together at Merlin attractions, away from their stressful daily routine. Some children’s circumstances prevent them from experiencing Merlin’s attractions. Merlin’s Magic Spaces are designed, built and installed in hospitals, orphanages, learning centres and other special places, so we can reach out and bring the magic to them. We work with local communities at hospitals and hospices to bring the magic to thousands of children all over the world. Attraction staff host special events, including visiting schools and children’s centres.
Basingstoke ITEC, are a local charity supporting the digital needs of the community since 1985, contact us for advice on tech careers and development.
We work with a range of employers to help them grown their own talent through funding using the govt apprenticeship programme. We are able to offer apprenticeships in Digital Marketing, Multi channel Marketing, Content Creator, 1st and 2nd line support, and Cyber Security. All our programmes are bespoke to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice. Employers can also use the funding to develop and upskill existing staff.
